Ariana Zachary is a special education consultant and advocate dedicated to helping families navigate the special education process with confidence and clarity. With over a decade of experience in special education leadership and instruction within the public school system, Ariana provides families with high-level, strategic guidance tailored to their child’s unique needs.
My Story
Ariana has extensive leadership experience within public school systems, having served as an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Coordinator with The School District of Palm Beach County overseeing specialized programs for students with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional/behavioral needs. She also served as an ESE Coordinator with Chicago Public Schools, where she gained valuable experience navigating diverse educational settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting students with complex academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
In addition to her leadership experience, Ariana has taught across multiple special education settings and grade levels, providing her with a strong instructional foundation and firsthand understanding of the academic, behavioral, transition, and social-emotional needs of students with disabilities. Her combined experience in classroom instruction and special education leadership allows her to provide families with informed, strategic, and practical guidance throughout the special education process.
Her background provides deep insight into public school procedures, district operations, federal special education regulations, effective academic and behavioral interventions, and the complexities of navigating the special education process. Ariana combines professional expertise with a compassionate, family-centered approach to advocacy and support.
In addition to her professional experience, Ariana brings personal insight into the special education journey as a parent. She has firsthand experience navigating the process and advocating for appropriate special education services for her own son, giving her a unique understanding of the emotional and practical challenges families often face. This personal perspective strengthens her commitment to empowering parents and ensuring children receive the support they deserve.
